Hunor is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Hungarian. It is the name of HIP 80076 (HAT-P-2) in constellation Hercules.
Etymology and History
Hunor was a legendary ancestor of the Huns and the Hungarian nation, and brother of Magor.
