Nikawiy is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Cree language. It is the name of HIP 74961 (HD 136418) in constellation Boo.

Etymology and History

Nikawiy is the word for mother in the Indigenous Cree language of Canada.
