Saḥīḥ Muslim: «أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ وهو بالأبطَحِ في قُبَّةٍ له حَمراءَ مِن أدَمٍ.» I came to the Prophet ﷺ at Mecca while he was in a red qubba of tanned leather, at al-Abṭaḥ. Lisān al-ʿarab: «القُبَّةُ مِنَ الخِيَامِ: بيتٌ صغيرٌ مُسْتَديرٌ، وهو مِنْ بُيوتِ العَرَبِ.» The qubba, among tents, is a small round tent; it is one of the traditional tent types of the Arabs.
