Cocibolca is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Spanish. It is the name of HIP 3479 (HD 4208) in constellation Scl.

Etymology and History

Cocibolca is the Nahualt name for the largest lake in Central America in Nicaragua.
