dMUL.KI.GAL (𒀭𒀯𒆠𒃲)m 'The Star of The Great Earth,' is a Sumerian name for the goddess Inanna as Venus, perhaps with reference to the goddess' connections with the Underworld. For example in literary works including Inanna's Descent to the Underworld, see Horowitz 2011: 274-276.

Concordance, Etymology, History[1]

"Star of the great earth," apparently an epithet of Venus as the goddess Inanna/Ishtar. In the list of gods AO 5376, col. vii 2 [Genouillac 1923[2]].
