Dofida is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Nias language. It is the name of HIP 66047 (HD 117618) in constellation Centaurus.

Dofida means our star in Nias language.
