Origin of Constellation

The constellation Yôwanakoya ‘Spirit of the green iguana’ is mentioned by the Penard brothers.[1] It represents the green iguana (Iguana iguana) and appears when the iguanas lay their eggs in the sand, which should be sometime in April and May, but the constellation remains unidentified.[2]
