Surt is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is [[Muspelheim]] in the constellation of [[Perseus]]. Suggested by the country of Denmark, it follows the name theme Names of characters and places associated with the mythological fire realm of Muspelheim from Norse mythology.
==Etymology and History==
Surt is the ruler of Muspelheim and the fire giants there in Norse mythology. At Ragnarok, the end of the world, he will lead the attack on our world and destroy it in flames.
