Hairu is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Emiw in the constellation of Tucana. Suggested by the country of Mozambique, it follows the name theme Terms associated with love and unity in the Makhuwa language of northern Mozambique.
Etymology and History
Hairu represents unity in the local Makhuwa language of the northern region of Mozambique.
