Etymology and History
Applied in recent times from an abbreviation of the ind-A asterism name udhi al-na'am, "the Ostrich's Nest", for ζ, ρ2,3, η, and τ1–5 Eri, and ε and π Cet.
Mythology

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN on 2016/09/12.
