Origin of Constellation
The term Dhanuśira (धनुशिरः) literally means head of the bow. Dhanu - Bow, śira - head. This has been found in the catalogue of astrolabes translated from Persian. The names in these star lists of the dials have been coined based on their position. [2] The coordinates match with μ Sagittarii. It is in identified with μ Sagittarii in the astrolabe C 001[3]
