Ayeyarwady is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Burmese. It is the name of HIP 13993 (HD 18742) in constellation Eri.

Etymology and History

Ayeyarwady is the largest and most important river in Myanmar.
