Dilmun is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Sumerian and Greek. It is the name of the star WASP-121 in constellation Pup.
Etymology and History
Dilmun was the Sumerian name of an ancient civilisation of the Bahrain archipelago and the eastern Arabian Peninsula.
Mythology

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN on 2023/08/01.
