Citadelle is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is French. It is the name of HIP 1547 (HD 1502) in constellation Psc.

Etymology and History

The Citadelle is a large mountaintop fortress in Nord, Haiti built after Haiti's independence, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site along with the nearby Sans-Souci Palace.

Mythology

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN on 2019/12/17.
