Gloas is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Manx Gaelic. It is the name of WASP-13 in constellation Lyn.
Etymology and History
In Manx Gaelic, Gloas means to shine (like a star).
