Taika is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Lithuanian. It is the name of HAT-P-40 in constellation Lac.

Etymology and History

Taika means peace in the Lithuanian language.
