Tojil is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Mayan. It is the name of WASP-22 in constellation Eri.
Etymology and History
Tojil is the name of one of the Mayan deities related to rain, storms, and fire.
