David Hilder is a Kiwi and Aussie Assyriologist from Brisbane, Australia. After completing a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics and a BA in International Relations and Economics at the University of Queensland, he undertook an MA in Assyriology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem specialising in cuneiform mathematical texts. He further studies history of mathematics and astronomy under the supervision of Prof. Wayne Horowitz (Hebrew University of Jerusalem).
