Komondor is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Hungarian. It is the name of HAT-P-12 in constellation CVn.
Etymology and History
The Komondor is a large white Hungarian breed of livestock guardian dog.
Mythology
