Liesma is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Latvian. It is the name of HIP 66192 (HD 118203) in constellation UMa.

Etymology and History

Liesma means flame, and it is the name of a character from the Latvian poem Staburags un Liesma.
