dEN.MUL (𒀭𒂗𒀯) is a Mesopotamian primordial ancestor deity who might be thought of as the original prototype of later asterisms in the completed universe.
Concordance, Etymology, History[1]
"Lord Star"; together with dNIN.MUL "Lady Star" (Kurtik n36) forms a pair with the ancestors of Enlil in the divine genealogies [Gössmann 1950, 325; Lambert 1975, 51; Tallqvist 1938, 304].
