IAU Working Group on Star Names
The name was discussed and approved by the IAU WGSN in 2018. Mu Aquilae lacks a proper name in SIMBAD, wikipedia, Bright Star Catalog (4th, 5th editions), and Kunitzsch & Smart (2006).
