Batsũ̀ is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Bribri. It is the name of HIPIntegerPart[] (, LHS 3844) in constellation Ind.
Etymology and History
Batsũ̀ means “hummingbird” in the Bribri language spoken in Costa Rica. Batsũ̀ are the messengers of the creator Sibö̀, a culture hero and creator of Earth and Humanity.
Mythology

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN on 2023/08/01.
