(mul)ŠU (𒀯𒋗), and its Akkadian equivalent qātu, 'hand,' a body part of a number of asterisms, for example the right hand of mulSIPA.ZI.AN.NA, 'The True Shepherd of Heaven,' (Orion) in the GU-text.

Concordance, Etymology, History[1]

         1) non-standard designation of the zodiac sign ALLA "Crab" in the late calendar-magical text W 22704 (recipe for making ointment? + "dodecatemoria"), derived from the name of the month of duuzu [SpTU III[2], 104:4, 13, 17, 30; Reiner 1995[3], 115; Kurtik 2013, 155; Brack-Bernsen-Hunger 1999[4], 288]. In the magical portion of the text, it corresponds to: dām(UŠ2) al-lut-tu2 u lipî(I3.UDU) al-lut-tu2 "The blood of cancer and the fat of cancer" [ibid.[4]]

         2) ŠU = qātu "Hand", the figure element of a number of constellations.

These include:

         (1) mulEN.TE.NA.BAR.ḪUM (see. Kurtik e13).

         (2) mulGU4.ALIM (see. Kurtik g32).

         (3) mul dGula (see. Kurtik g35).

         (4) mulMAŠ.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL (see. Kurtik m17).

Kurtik (2022, sh15) Gössmann (1950)

(1) mulEN.TE.NA.BAR.ḪUM (см. e13).

(2) mulGU4.ALIM (cм. g32).

(3) mul dGula (см. g35).
