Imenarikoya is an Arawakan constellation name from Lokono. This constellation is referring to the spirit of the scorpion.

Origin of Constellation
The constellation Imenarikoya ‘Spirit of the scorpion’ was only mentioned by Claudius de Goeje.[1] The constellation refers to a spirit of an unidentified species of a large poisonous scorpion. There are no known myths about Imenarikoya. The constellation could be a case of cultural borrowing from non-indigenous populations, as has been suggested for the Kari’na constellation representing a scorpion.[2]
