Asuusiha is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Manchu language. It is the name of the star τ Her in constellation Hercules.
Concordance, Etymology, History

The name is derived from the Manchu constellation of the Hunting Net, Asu Usiha (ᠠᠰᡠ ᡠᠰᡳᡥᠠ). It is a traditional constellation referring to a living tradition of using these nets in sable hunts.
Mythology
IAU Working Group on Star Names
The name was discussed and adopted by the IAU WGSN in 2026. The WGSN chose to adopt the name for the star τ Her in the IAU-CSN, because it may even represent one end of the net, possibly functioning as a peg stuck in the ground to anchor the net..
