dEN.MUL (𒀭𒂗𒀯), 'Lord Star' along with his female pair dNIN.MUL, 'Lady Star,' are Mesopotamian primordial ancestor deities who might be thought of as the original ancestors of later asterisms in the completed universe.

Concordance, Etymology, History[1]

"Lord Star"; together with dNIN.MUL "Lady Star" (Kurtik n36) forms a pair with the ancestors of Enlil in the divine genealogies [Gössmann 1950, 325; Lambert 1975, 51; Tallqvist 1938, 304].
