please provide historical data

the image from an American star chart where the star is marked isn't helpful - we need Indian images and we need historical texts from India! for example, a sentence like "The coordinates match with γ Sagittarii." requires a source given: the coordinates in which star catalog, what hist. epoch, where published (edition/translation), where used and for what historical purpose, what errorbar...
