Secunda Hyadum is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Latin. It is the name of HIP 20455 (δ1 Tau, HR 1373) in constellation Tau.
Etymology and History
The Latin term Hyadum II goes back to Flamsteed (1729) in analogy to Hyadum I or Prima Hyadum.
