Maru is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Korean. It is the name of WD 0806-661 in constellation Vol.
Etymology and History
‘Maru’ (마루) is a Korean word reminiscent of the sky.
