Makombé is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Wouri in the constellation of Aquarius. Suggested by the country of Cameroon, it follows the name theme Rivers and their tributaries in Cameroon that flow into the Gulf of Guinea.

Etymology and History

The Makombé River is a tributary which feeds the Wouri River in Cameroon.

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
