Origin of Constellation

The term Dhanuśira literally means head of the bow. Dhanu - Bow, śira - head. This has been found in the catalogue of astrolabes translated from Persian. The names in these star lists of the dials have been coined based on their position. [1]The coordinates match with μ Sagittarii.
